I had the pleasure of shooting a Style Story with & Other Stories, while showing them around my favorite LA spots. While widely known LA landmarks are frequents on city guides, I shared my more personal favorites - from the pink wall and green door I drive by every day to where I go for plant therapy - the lesser known places where I like to get lost. All clothing, shoes, and accessories featured above in the "White on White" collection will be available in stores October 15.

J.W. Anderson shirtdress via TheRealReal // vintage Levi's // Trademark slippers

Lately it seems like all the LA transplants know the city better than us natives, so this weekend I did something different for a change and went exploring. Special days call for special clothes, so I actually made a concerted effort not to wear a sloppy tshirt and put on my new favorite J.W. Anderson shirtdress (another TheRealReal miracle find) and headed out to the Stahl House, historic Case Study #22. Fun way to spend the afternoon and take in the city views.

With Mother's Day around the corner, you could try doing something new besides the usual brunch. Fill her belly and take her on a tour of a beautiful historic landmark. BOOM. Mother's Day solved. And if you're still looking for a gift, here are my picks below.

Dion Lee reflective knit shirt // VEDA Jayne Jacket // Adam Lippes trousers // Mansur Gavriel clutch // Acne Studios scarf

ASOS sweater dress // Céline coat // Vans Sk8-Hi // Céline Trio bag // Acne Studios scarf

Coach shearling coat // RVCA jeans // Acne Studios boots // Kelly Wearstler scarf

Céline sweater // VEDA Jayne Jacket // Wacko Maria trousers // Mansur Gavriel clutch // Acne Studios scarf

Remembering how cold it was in NY this past February (and how nice it was to finally wear coats).

Just about the only kind of dress I will wear - long and baggy. But the addition of a nice clean lady bag gives it a bit more of a feminine touch. Ok fine, I wasn't expecting you to overlook the sneakers, but really all I can do is try.

I've never been much of a bag person. I prefer classic designs as long as all the styles are covered - bucket, messenger, small, tote, lady, doctor, duffel. Finally ticked that grown up lady bag off the list and even ventured into non-black territory. I swear I always find all my hunting list items on The RealReal.

Black leather jackets are the clothing equivalent to black leather boots. Even the slightest variation can make you add another to your collection. A couple years ago I went through an insane search for semi affordable leather jackets (sorry, no Balenciaga's here). I started with the most classic Schott, but they were always too boxy for me. So instead I wound up with every other variation - oversized, cropped, quilted, minimal. And now that The Line created this slightly more modern, tailored version of Schott's classic Perfecto, I am a happy camper. No more leather jackets for me.

The holidays are upon us. How is it almost 2015? I breezed through Black Friday temptations like a champ, but December always puts me in a #treatyoself mood. And since it is already the second day of the month, may as well jump straight into it?

I'm hooked on The Real Real. So much Louis, Prada, Chanel, Stella, Proenza, and Céline (without the Celine Dion CDs and Vegas show merch). I got my Chanel duster there so it's sort of becoming my go-to for rare and past season items. Missed out on vintage YSL cufflinks for $50 :( but you bet I put myself on their wait list option. How do you think I got this coat? The holidays are a time for optimism after all. Check out their 12 Days of Gifting here for luxury holiday gift ideas, or just go #treatyoself.

Chanel duster // Zara tee // The Castings jeans // Gianvito Rossi boots // Mansur Gavriel clutch // Broken Arrow sunglasses

Flashback from this past NYFW on Garance Dore today. Still can't believe I found this Chanel duster on The Real Real. I'm now addicted to looking for more insane vintage pieces and just long coats in general. Which I understand is not the most pragmatic considering my geographical location, but hey, what's a girl to do?

Chanel coat // Nasty Gal muscle tee // RVCA jeans // Blends x Vans old skool low

From a few weeks ago during NYFW. Luckily the temperatures dropped low enough one day to wear my new favorite (dream find) Chanel floor length duster cardigan coat magic thing. I found it on The RealReal, which is my new obsession. Basically a curated site of everything I look for on eBay (but without the awkward selfie listing photos). Go git you some.

Hi guys! I'm alive! Here I am at Luxe Studios in Sydney (yes Australia), testing the light for Margaret. We did a fun shoot that maybe I'll get around to posting one of these days. I had a great month in Sydney to explore and eat and read and just catch up on me time. Lots of changes ahead!

I rarely accentuate my waist. In fact, if anything I'm constantly hiding it under baggy shirts. But if ever there was a reason to cinch it, it would be this belt. This glorious bionic belt. Never was there such a belt. Belt, belt, belt.

Side note: I am now inspired to take up Kendo again.
